514. THOMAS BELLOU Haggard
On 4 January 1864 he enlisted in the 3rd Minnesota Battery of Light Artillary, Captain John Jones commanding. He was advanced to corporal and acted as sergeant part of the time. His department commander was General Pope. He was honorably discharged 27 February 1866.
Henry and his wife were born in Madison County, KY, and migrated to Iowa in 1842 shortly after their marriage and settled near Dubuque, later moving to
Louisana State Treasurer under the administration of Governor John M. Parker, and after that Louisiana State Bank Examiner.
Goodhue County, MN, settling near Fair Point.
